Laura Mata is been working as a freelance art director and stylist for the last 7 years for brands like Bimba y Lola, Bershka, Massimo Dutti, Josep Font, Javier Simorra, among others. Always been interested in areas such as design, fashion, trends and visual culture, in short, watching how those evolve with society walking hand in hand with our needs, culture, stereotypes, an attitude or a lifestyle. That's why she's fascinated with images constructed to communicate, or create a necessity, to its final receptor.
Her process comes across different media and platforms, understanding the needs of both off and online, and keeping an eye on what’s about to come investigating as a trend forecaster to improve her creative thinking.
Laura as the co-owner and Editor of Agapornis Magazine has also been at the front of the Art Direction and image curation of the publication, together with her play-mate Iván Jiménez.She's also been in charge and developed some creative projects at crowd studio, such as the Laus 2017 Campaign, the Art Directors Club, Sneaker Freaker magazine, Fundació Foto Colectania, and many others.
